Moving Stops: last 1/2 of KGC up to $3.49 stop USLV stop up to $59.45 It’s possible that the Dollar put in a cycle low this morning. If so, then a rising dollar could put pressure on the metals here. We’re going to move stops way up to be sure and lock in a nice profit if that turns out to be the case.
Gold rallied right up near resistance this morning and is pulling back a bit now. We sold 1/2 of KGC here at $3.65, still holding half with target of $3.79 for now.
Bought 10% DIS @ $133.81 Stop $127.98 Target will watch @ $142.35, but expect new highs to be made.
Moving Stops: KGC up to $3.39 DBA up to $16.49 Gold has had a very strong run the past few days. We’ll move the KGC stop up to lock in a solid gain in case of a big pullback. Overall still looking very bullish. DBA. Soybean and corn farmers continue to struggle to get their crops planted. The later in the season it gets, the worse the prospects for a decent crop in the fall … read more Trade Update
Gold is quite a bit higher again this morning so we’re going to move the stop on KGC up to $3.18 now. Also movingstop on DBA up to $16.30. Break-even levels for both trades. We’ll continue to move them up as they climb. Also realized that the USLV trade from Friday didn’t get added to the portfolio page. Everything is updated now.
The dollar looks to be descending into a daily cycle low. Gold is rallying and Silver is lagging. Bought 10% USLV at 57.50. Stop is $54.07 Target $66
Bought 10% UDOW @ $90.71 Stop @ $87.95 Target @ $103.90 Despite the market weakness, both the Dow and Nasdaq are bouncing off of support levels. Solid reward-to-risk from here.
Moving stop on DKS to $36.25 and T to $31.69. Markets continue to chop around. No sense in letting DKS or T go negative from here. Gold is higher this morning, as well as the agricultural markets, so we’ll leave those trades alone for now.
Bought 10% DBA @ $16.30 Stop @ $15.89 Target @ $17.79 Agricultural markets are soaring this week on poor planting conditions. The Corn chart is poised for a major bull market breakout from a very long-term consolidation period. DBA is a low risk way to enter the Ag markets at this time.
