KHC stop moved up to break-even at $34.02 Company reported great earnings numbers this morning, but the stock is down a bit with the overall market. There are a lot of warning signs in the market right now (strong sell signals in European markets, as well as in the Dow today), so we’re just going to move this to b/e to protect the downside and manage overall risk.

Bought 10% CRON @ $6.87 Stop @ $6.27 Target @ $8.13 CRON always seems to be on the verge of a major breakout. They don’t always follow through, but it’s a solid setup giving us a fresh buy signal as it breaks through all the moving averages the last couple of days. Initial target is the recent $8.13 high, but we’re always looking to catch a more sustained move in this stock.

Move stop on F up to $6.79 Moving up nicely, about 10% higher here. Will likely experience some resistance a the $7.24 (200-DMA) level. If it were to reverse here we’d want to get some profit booked. We’ll use a move below today’s low as a stop, expecting that if it were hit the stock would be looking to drop to a retest of the rising moving averages again.

DIVIDEND PORTFOLIO TRADE ALERT: Buy 5% CEQP $13.85 CEQP just announced in a pre-earnings release that they actually had a very good quarter and are maintaning their huge dividend. The dividend has an 18% yield. Of course, this is/remains a highly speculative trade, but the extremely high yield will significantly cushion a downturn.

Bought 15% DLTR @ $95.50 Stop @ $91.29 Target @ $109.75 Nice buy signal on Friday, popping through the MAs and old resistance levels now. This chart can be seen as a Head & Shoulder pattern which would mean significant upside potential. Combine that with the large gap to fill at $109.75, a looming golden cross (rising 50-DMA across the 200-DMA) and we’ve got the makings of a nice trade here.
