Bought 15% XLNX @ $93.76 Stop @ $89.90 Target @ $107.79 In just the last couple of days the markets have gone from flashing red sell signals (albeit not strong signals, as the moving averages were still trending higher), to strong buy signals. Will likely buy one or two more this morning. Will update blog posts when things settle down.

The market is up big this morning on surprisingly strong jobs numbers. TRV gapped through our target and filled better at $122.50 (+22%). We are also going to move all of our stop levels up now. Bought 15% XLNX @ $92.26 Stop @ $87.49 Target @ $113.90 This is an interesting chart setup. It’s a pretty reasonable Head and Shoulder pattern. It’s breaking through a whole bunch of resistance here as it crosses the 200-DMA and enters into a gap. This should quickly fill the gap to $97.31. If the H&S pattern plays out we should see further upside to roughly the distance of the rally off of the lows.

Bought 15% PAYX @ $71.82 Stop @ $69.89 Target @ $77.90 Buy signal a few days ago as it broke through the moving averages. Now a nice breakout trade above the April high. If this level holds we’ll get a nice run out of it, if not, we’re quite close to the stop. Good reward-to-risk trade here. Initial target is the 200-DMA, but if it’s really moving well we would move that to the highs.
